Note: Begin the yoke using needles suitable for working small circumferences in the round, then change to circular needles as the circumference increases.
Always use a needle size that will result in the correct gauge after blocking.

Notes: Lodestar is worked from the top down in the round, with yoke increases incorporated into a geometric lace pattern. At the underarm, sleeve stitches are put on hold and the body is worked in one piece. Sleeve stitches are transferred back to needles and sleeves are worked down in the round.
