Notes

hugely inspired by Heidi’s latest iteration in a tighter gauge and this one by NapaGal to knit the Remix at my favorite 6st/in in 2x2 stripes. knitting (mostly) an M1 to get something between an S1/S2 (my usual size for Heidi’s patterns). Finished bust ~ 35” (2” of positive ease) and length from underarm ~ 12”

Since my row gauge was smaller than what the pattern suggested, I needed a few more more YOKE rounds to get the right armhole depth. Worked Set 1 increases ten times and Set 2 four times. So I had the same number of stitches, spread over more rows.

Also, I only added 6 stitches for each armhole (vs pattern’s 8). To make the short sleeves, I worked 2 sets of decreases.

Following NapaGal’s lead, I carried the two-row stripes through the ribbing (5 rounds of ribbing, then bound off in rib). I also worked the reverse stockinette neck, with two purl rounds after picking up.
