note my row gauge is a little looser than the pattern suggests - didn’t make any adjustments and at least pre-blocking, it seems perfect.

really love the italian cast-on - I haven’t been a fan of tubular cast-ons until now!

also, the stripes, combined with increases, combined with ribbing … kind of kicked my behind for the first couple of inches (gosh, and I used to teach LACE knitting classes) … but I’ve got it now and I’m having a ball knitting it!

I ran short of the MC and made the sleeves SHORT. I worked 12 rows in the stripe pattern, then changed to the size 3 needles for the cuff. I knitted a round, and decreased all the P2 stitches with K2tog, worked 8 rounds of 1x1 ribbing, and bound off all the stitches knit-wise. I have skinny arms and knew I needed a tighter sleeve than the pattern suggests. Pre-blocking, I’m pleased with the fit!
