knit mostly while I was helping my daughter move to Bristol, England in August, 2019. I remember it took me three tries to get the neckband cast on right (thank goodness I was set before my flight took off), LOTS of coffee to get the rhythm of the body, sleeve and neck increases and then LOTS of fun just knitting stockinette. I finished the sleeves shortly after returning home (late August) and blocked it … and then it sat … to be finished once it’s fall (I NEVER want to finish a sweater I can’t wear soon … bad juju) … it’s now October 23 and I think I can finally seam those sleeves and sew on buttons … soon!!

p.s. when I put the nearly finished piece on my dress form, I noticed that the sleeves seem super long - they are a little shorter than the pattern suggests (about 19-1/2” vs 20-1/2”) and I love the pattern’s modeled photos, so I’m going to see …
