I am so pleased to be part of this Friends Around the World (FATW) 6th Anniversary CAL (Crochet-A-Long) “Adventures in Mosaic Crochet”!

When I was invited to join this CAL I started thinking about how I now have friends around the world and yet, I am lonely. Between being a stay-at-home mom to little kids and the closure of nearly everything, I feel very isolated. It is also the middle of winter here in Saskatchewan, Canada.

I would love to meet up with my new friends and what better place to meet than a beach!? Hot sun, a bright beach ball, some cool sunglasses: let’s all go to my happy place, please!

Most of my patterns are written for both crochet techniques. The Coral and Sunglasses strips that are part of this group Crochet-A-Long were designed for overlay mosaic but these sunglasses also work for interlocking crochet.
