I bought this yarn intending to make a baby sweater, but after several false starts it became clear that wasn’t going to happen. It really wanted to be a hat! I cast on before my trip to Wisconsin, so I’d have a nice easy project to work on during the conference.

I wish it were a little bigger…I should have cast on 102 sts, rather than 90. Looks great, though (if I do say so myself).

2 Aug 2012 - I cast on a second hat on the train to the First Thursday show in Baltimore. I cast on 102 sts in Knit Picks Swish Bulky.

16 Aug 2012 - After one ball, it’s about 9 inches.

17 Aug 2012 - Second hat done!

25 Aug 2012 - Started a third hat in Moda Dea washable wool. I’m going to use several colors.
