The textured fabric in this pattern is created using a dip stitch. The dip stitch creates loops of yarn which sit on top of the fabric and create the parquet effect.

We have used 6 strands, held together, of lace weight yarn (Qing Fibre Kid Silk Mohair), the equivalent to 1 strand of chunky weight yarn. However you can replace this with whichever yarn you like. Making this project the perfect stash buster piece!

Featuring a cropped, oversized, boxy fit with a lovely high neck.

NOTE: Hold 2 strands of this yarn together throughout.

B: 6 (6, 7, 7, 8)(9, 9, 9, 10) skeins of Kidsilk Mohair by Qing Fibre (70% ultra fine kid mohair, 30% silk, 420 m / 459 yds – 50 g), colourway Taiga.
NOTE: Hold 6 strands of this yarn together throughout.
