Just a basic cowl. About 9” wide by 65” long. I call it ‘mistake rib’ because I don’t know the proper name.

Row 1 (uneven number of stitches): knit 2, purl 2, continue across. Last stitch will be either knit 1 or purl 1 depending on how many stitches you have.

Row 2 is the same as row one. This way only 1 of your knit stitches shows up. It makes a very stretchy, squishy fabric.

I also added a 3 stitch i-cord to both edges to give it a bit of structure.
