This tee is knitted top down with a placket in the back to make it easier to put on your doll. It is knitted flat to the bottom of the placket and then in the round to the hem.

Included is an optional method to get rid of the little gap often found when you bind off for sleeves in the middle of a row.

Any fingering weight yarn should work just fine. You just need 5-10 yards, so this is a good use for those little balls you’ve probably been collecting.

I put the gauge in, but I wouldn’t worry too much about it. At this size it’s easier to just start and see if it will fit your doll rather than knit a gauge square.

As shown in the photos, this tee also fits the mini Disney Animator dolls and Mattel Kelly dolls, especially Chelsea Kelly. It is snug on McDonald’s Madame Alexander Happy Meal dolls and Wee Patsy. I’m planning to try an extra increase row for them.

This pattern is free, but if you want to say “thank you”, please create a project page here on Ravelry.

I measured the yarn on the last one I made. It took just over seven yards.
