The Rosa Earwarmer is my take on the latest trend of twisted headbands! After being asked to make one by my younger sister, I decided to have a go making it look as much like knitting as possible. After finishing my first earwarmer, I just had to make a matching scrunchie! As it’s worked in DK, the stitches look so elegant and defined.

I’ve included sizes from small baby to large adult, so you’ll definitely find the right fit for you or a child in your life! I’d suggest measuring the circumference around your head first and choosing the closest size (if between sizes, size down as the headband as a small amount of stretch)

Head circumference given per size, given as Small Baby (Baby, Toddler, Child, Teen, Adult, Large Adult): 33 (38, 43, 49, 53, 55, 59) cm, requiring 30 35, 50, 68, 86, 91, 97 metres) of DK yarn. The scrunchie requires 50 metres of yarn.

This pattern is available in both UK & US terminology so you don’t have to translate stitches!
