This quote, “may your coffee be stronger than your children’s / daughter’s / son’s attitude” can be found on mugs and t-shirts all over the internet.

I am not actually a coffee drinker, but I do have two daughters and a son and I know that parents need to laugh a little now and then. I hope this throw blanket brings you a smile.

With this purchase you’ll have access to 6 pattern files: interlocking crochet method for the “children’s”, “daughter’s” and “son’s” option and overlay mosaic crochet for the “children’s”, “daughter’s” and “son’s” option.

Each file contains the full written pattern for right-handers, then left-handers, and then a single-page chart (good for viewing on a screen), and a multi-page chart (for printing).

The mosaic charts have x’s showing where the dropped double crochets go. I also include a chart-reading instruction sheet and a photo tutorial for the optional double envelope border with every pattern.

The interlocking mesh dots and border lines have been removed from the overlay mosaic version of the pattern.

The interlocking crochet option includes a chart-reading instruction sheet as well.

The Locked Filet Mesh (LFM) interlocking crochet method uses only chain spaces and double crochets to create a mesh; two colors are worked alternately which creates the pattern.

Mosaic crochet is single crochet and double crochet stitches. The double crochet stitches cover some of the other color’s single crochet stitches to create the design. My patterns instruct you to cut your yarn at the end of each row. The back is striped but often gives a faint impression of the pattern on the front (sort of like illusion knitting). See an example here.
