The Two M’s Shawl is a so called because I couldn’t think of a suitable mashup of Marcell and Myles - my two sons. During the corona virus outbreak, Marcell challenged me to write the shawl I keep talking about and together they chose the yarn which I eventually used.

The design reflects elements of both of their characters - a simple flowing repeat separated by a ‘spine’ which mimics their need for order and routine.

1 skein/800 - 1000m of any fingering weight yarn will complete this shawl

Pattern info:

  • beginner friendly, easy to remember repeating stitch pattern
  • contains written instructions only
  • 4mm hook is recommended, for a looser drape user a 4.5 or even a 5mm hook - this WILL effect yarn amounts
  • pattern support is available via email through Ravelry or bernadine@menmyhook.com

Skills needed:

  • beginner crocheters can make this shawl

  • great for those who are new to written patterns

  • Pattern is easy to adjust for a smaller or larger finished shawl
