“Skol” (skål) is how Norwegians say a toast. Knit this decorative cover for your wine bottle, and you’ll also have a lovely knitted vase. As a cosy, it is great for dressing up a bottle of wine with its own custom “sweater” to make a nice gift, or just a lovely way to save that bottle of wine on the shelf—or dress up your table where you will cork it. Once the wine is gone, save the bottle and presto, you have a lovely knitted vase.

This design features hearts and lovebirds for a valentine or sweetheart theme.

Checkout the two volume ebook collection of 12 designs for themes throughout the year. Each is knit in the round from the bottom up to make it easy to adjust the neck length to match your bottles length overall. Difficulty level: Advanced, due to colorwork.

Yarn: 2 contrasting colors are required: MC = 65 yds; CC = 45 yes
