Yarn Bomber Jacket is designed with your scrap yarn stash in mind. It’s a super cozy oversized jacket with voluminous sleeves. It’s all made of stockinette stitch except for the small ribs, so it’s a perfect project for a beginner who is tired of knitting just plain scarves and wants to venture out making a garment.
I used a combination of several different yarns that I had in my stash. I mainly used bulky weight mohair or suri alpaca blend yarns, but I used some DK weight yarns doubled and even a lace weight yarn tripled to create this cardigan. You can use any yarn color combinations depending on what you have at hand. Of course, no knitter would judge you if you purchase a brand new yarn to start this project!
