I made this with the left-over yarn from the Chevron Baby Blanket and deliberately used both colors.
While I was still working on the blanket little Princess Charlotte Elizabeth Diana was born in the UK and SHE wore a bonnet rather than a hat when discharged from the hospital. That kind of sealed the idea to make a bonnet. I was glad to find this pattern which works with the yarn I used for the blanket.
I opted for the ribbon rather than crochet ties as I love checking out ribbons.
This is an incredibly quick knit and makes a sweet bonnet.
